Patricia Piccinini was born in 1965 and primarily engages in sculptural activities. She is currently a leading avant-garde artist in Australia, always emphasizing the harmony and coexistence of artificial and natural elements. Her works include the creation of unfamiliar and bizarre forms of life and they attract considerable attention from the media. Her sculptures explore the relationship between humanity and the natural environment in a broader dimension, influenced by the advancement of modern technology. Through these forms, she aims to demonstrate and propose how much damage humanity can repair in the environment, and whether coexistence is possible. The main themes of her work revolve around issues often overlooked by men, such as reproduction and motherhood, harmony and coexistence.
