The show features Stella’s selection of prints from his famous series Imaginary Places. These works were produced over a period of four years. Identified by the artist’s signature techniques that produce compositions of twisting, colliding and knotted forms held together by square forms. Color is a structural element in these prints, a material in and of itself. Stella’s highly experimental endeavors in printmaking have redefined the traditional print.
