Amorepacific Museum of Art (APMA) will present APMA CHAPTER ONE-FROM THE APMA COLLECTION from February 14th to May 19th, 2019

APMA, CHAPTER ONE  is the first special exhibition from the permanent collection of the APMA. Transcending categories of time and space, the exhibition features select contemporary works by artists of Asia, the US, and Europe, ranging from paintings, sculptures, and photography to installations and media art.

Since being established in 1979 with an emphasis on traditional Korean artworks, the Amorepacific Museum of Art has expanded its activities and collection to include contemporary artworks from Korea and beyond. Today, the museum’s collection represents a wide spectrum of global beauty from Korea and beyond, thus exemplifying the mission and spirit of Amorepacific.

Within the vast exhibition space, which allows for the presentation of huge installations, visitors have the rare chance to peruse many contemporary artistic perspectives in one venue.
